SRC

The Student Representative Council or SRC is a group of students elected by the student body as representatives and leaders of their own year group.

The SRC gives students the opportunity to develop skills in

  • leadership
     
  • planning
  • communicating
  • negotiating
  • chairing meetings and
  • public speaking.

Elected members discuss issues raised by the student body with the school\'s executive team and represent students on important school committees.

Students also organise fund raising activities for charity. This important task has helped many groups and individuals and raises awareness of the importance of community support for others in need.
