THE FARM

A farm in the suburbs provides a wealth of experiences for our students. Contact with livestock on a daily basis builds patience, tolerance and often eliminates fear of animals in children.

All Year 8 students have 2 period sper cycle (2 hours per fortnight) of Agriculture. This allows them to become familiar with the farm and provides basic animal care and vegetable production skills.

A large range of vegetables and flowers, especially roses!

Farm Machinery including:

• John Deere Tractor
• Implements
• Shearing Shed
• Cool room
• Extensive yarding

Students may choose Agriculture as an elective in Years 9 and 10 or as a subject for the HSC.
