Our Library

  • provides a pleasant, friendly and dynamic learning environment for students and staff, promoting co-operation and respect for others.

  • integrates information skills into the curriculum by provision of pathfinders, bibliographies, helpsheets and personal assistance.

  • promotes reading for enjoyment as well as life long learning, offering a wide choice of current young adult fiction and recreational reading

In addition we provide:

  • networked internet terminals available for legitimate school research
  • colour and black and white photocopying for students
  • a variety of magazines to support the curriculumvertical files of current materials and HSC support materials.

Hours:

  • 8.15am - 3.15pm
  • Before school - private study
  • Peer tutoring commences at 8.25am daily
  • Open during recess and lunch
  • Available for class bookings or small group research during class time.

Borrowing:

  • Students issued with Library ID card (replacement on lost card $5.50)
  • Loan period 2 weeks (2 days on high demand items)
  • Students may borrow up to 5 items - limit 2 items on a given topic
  • AV items available overnight to students 10 - 12
  • Closed reserve for high demand material
  • Prompt return of books ensures continuity of borrowing privileges
