Excursions: learning in the real world
A number of excursions are held each year by various Faculties for different years.
- Each excursion has a different educational focus.
- The "Big Day Out" for Year 8 is just for fun!
- Information about excursions is sent home to parents with each student.
- A signed permission form is always required if students leave school grounds.
- The required number of teachers to ensure safety always attend.
- A risk assessment is carried out for each excursion.
Memories of school excursions can remain with us into adulthood. Excursions are a valuable part of learning!
