100 hour courses
In keeping with the school's motto "Vision and Progress", 100 hour courses are a unique feature of the curriculum at Crestwood. 100 hour courses offer students in Stage 5 the opportunity to broaden and deepen their studies in School Certificate subjects.
100 hour courses are
- in addition to the two electives students choose to study in stage 5
- one year courses, one course in Year 9 and another in Year 10
- accredited for the School Certificate.
100 hour courses give students the opportunity to develop in areas in which they have particular ability or interest. This opportunity is not available in most schools.
